This event will take place over five days from October 26-30, 2009.

This online competition is an interesting and fun way to apply all that you've learned from this site, and test your skills with a virtual portfolio that you can build over a simulated 15 year period. 

Participation is free.  In order to make this an enjoyable learning experience, we want you to read preliminary materials about investing principles, and take a few easy pre-qualifying quizzes before you start the challenge.

After viewing each tutorial, take the online quiz and submit your results to be entered into the prize drawing—a $25 Amazon.com gift card. (One prize awarded for each tutorial, prizes awarded at the discretion on the Evelyn Brust Foundation.)

Once you've completed all the tutorial quizzes, register for the Dream Retirement Challenge!

This interview may be conducted in person (depending on the winner's location), or over an internet video/phone link.  This is a chance to ask all of your investment questions in a personal discussion with a senior investment professional.  Questions about the financial market in general, about how to set or modify your investment goals, and your decision process, how to focus on just the information you really need and tune out the rest, and any other investment topics of interest.  (Note: for regulatory reasons, the interview cannot include discussion or recommendations on specific investments, for example: individual stocks, bonds or mutual funds)
